2nd Round Auditions - Pretty Face and Green My Eyes"Pretty Face and Green My Eyes" - SECOND ROUND AUDITIONS
Seattle independent production house Donkey Park Productions is currently
casting for an upcoming short film entitled “Pretty Face and Green My Eyes”;
an IFP finalist script that is set to be shot in mid to late April of 2011
in the greater Seattle area. Our second round of auditions will be held on
Thursday, March 10th from 5pm-9pm. Location will be given out upon
selection.
Synopsis:
Pretty Face and Green My Eyes tells the story of Jim, a novelist. After
struggling for years, Jim has finally broken through with his latest Novel,
being nominated for a Pulitzer. While he doesn't normally do book readings,
he agrees to do one at a small bookstore owned by an old friend, Maggie.
Jim's novel tells the story of his teenage years, growing up in the early
nineties during the Seattle music explosion. The chapter he reads at the
bookstore, with Maggie listening on, is about the night Jim and Maggie met,
as teenagers at a local rock show. We follow them through their night as
they explore the city, and discover an intense attraction to one another
that only happens once; with a first love. Pretty Face and Green My Eyes
shines the light on the longing for youth, the ways we hold on, and the
wonder that comes when rediscovering feelings that we thought were gone
forever.
Cast:
Jim – Male, mid 30's. Scruffy, handsome, slightly introverted writer.
Maggie – Female, mid 30's. Authentic, creative, attractive. Jim's young love
and
bookstore owner.
Charlotte – Female, 30's. Audacious, hard nosed, hilarious. Jim's manager.
Young Jim – Male, late teens. Young version of Jim.
Young Maggie – Female, late teens. Young version of Maggie.
Chris – Male, late teens. Cautious, out of his element “alternative” teen.
Trumpet Man – Male, african american, 60's-70's. Jim's possibly imaginary
muse.
This is a low budget production, and payment is TBD.

Looking for male and female hip hop dancers/choreographers
We are looking for 2 female & 2 male dancers for an upcoming show on April
2nd for local R&B/pop/hip-hop artist. This is a huge event for the artist’s
debut single listening party, as there will be commercials running on BET
and VH1 in Snohomish county for this event.
Auditions will be held on SUNDAY MARCH 13TH AT MIEKO'S FITNESS GYM from
3-4:30pm (inside the aerobics room).
Be prepared to come with your best choreographed hip-hop dance that centers
around one artist. The snippet of the single dance remix can be found on the
artist’s website, www.heathergin.com
Dancers will need to be available for the next two weekends, Saturday &
Sunday from 3-4:30pm prior to the show for rehearsals (March 19th, 20th,
26th and 27th).
If you make the cut, there are a lot of possibilities that may open up as
the artist progresses-- including more/higher paying gigs, music videos, and
much more.

Summer in the Sixties, an original music review
A Harlequin original musical celebration of sounds that rocked a generation and gave a new voice to a new world.
Auditions will be in late March, and you Will be asked to sing from a selected list of 60's music.
Stipend of $150 a week for 10 weeks. An additional travel stipend of up to $100 a week will be paid to the driver of a carpool to offset travel costs to Olympia.

Casting Actress for Web Series Project
Looking for a lead actress for an episodic comedic web project shooting in HD centered around the slow failure of a talk show.
CHARACTER: A small-town girl, Jen is the host. She gets extremely emotional when pushed too hard.
LOOK: caucasian, thin, in her 20s
Shooting will be over three days (Fri. + weekend) at the end of April in Seattle. If interested, please include photo and let us know of your training/relevant work (link to clips of past work is also helpful).
