Short student film seeks lead actor
2nd year film students at Seattle Central are now casting for the lead male role in "Bed, Track, and Beyond", a short comedy film.
Adrien - 35-45. casually athletic. Enjoys a jousting, light-hearted repartee with his girlfriend, Marie. Must be able to run and exercise while looking asleep.
Auditions will be held on Capitol Hill in Seattle next week. Please contact the producer, Dan Howes, for further details by responding to this post. Please include a headshot and resume.
Compensation will consist of a copy of the finished film for your reel, credit, and crafty and coffee on set.

Sophocles' Ajax
Ajax, maddened by Athena and the prolonged Trojan War, seeks revenge on the Greek army only to have his rage turned against himself and those closest to him. This modern adaptation of Sophocles' The Ajax explores the brutal effects of war on the soldiers and families who serve. On and off the battlefield, friends become enemies and honor brings infamy for a reluctant hero. Colored with elements of Homer's The Iliad and Ovid's Metamorphoses, writer, Todd van der Ark, and director, Linda Lombardi, bring this classic story to life through modern language, while maintaining the eloquence of Sophocles' original.
Project dates:
Tentative rehearsal start date: Sat, March 26th. Rehearsals will be weekday evenings and weekend days with hours tbd at this time.
Show runs from Fri, Apr 29th thru Sat, May 21st with performances on Friday & Saturday nights & Sunday matinees.
