Need actresses / equipment
My names Chad and I am making a student film at UW. It is a mix
between Garden State and The Science of Sleep.
Needed females, ages 30-50 and one 20ish
We are trying to fill 4 roles. We had one really great addition that
could fit any, but now we are looking for options. Please send a head
shot and a time that you are free preferably Tuesday Wednesday or
Thursday
Mom: the mother of our main character Julia who has a few scenes shot
over one day in March
Dixon: Sociology teacher has multiple lines over one scene, shot over
one day in Feb. (pending on schedule)
Ambergy: we are looking for someone artistic (frizzy hair is a plus)
who can take on the role of a Drama teacher.
Tracy: is the mother of our leading lady, who's husband has passed
away and now it is just a house of 3 woman. She is very Bohemian. She
has a few scenes shot over 2 days in Feb and March.

We are also exhausting all of our options for our lead, Liz who is 20,
spontaneous, confident, and outgoing. We are looking for an adorable
look.
We will send out the script, all that have read it seem to really like
it, I feel it is important to have creative choice. This is a film
that we will be sending off to festivals.

Holly - 30s-40s. Tough, mechanically inclined. Has a not-so-secret crush on Marie, our protagonist.
Amy - 20s. Sarcastic goth bartender.
Auditions will be held today and next Tuesday from 4-8pm on Capitol Hill in Seattle.

CASTING CALL for Stop Requested
Abundant Productions LLC is casting for its next film project, Stop
Requested -- a 12-minute supernatural suspense thriller that will
ultimately be filmed as a feature. Principal photography will take
place in the Seattle area May 27-May 30. There is a small, daily
stipend.
Auditions are Wednesday, March 2, from 7:00-10:00 p.m., at Carco
Theatre, 1717 SE Maple Valley Hwy, Renton, WA 98057.
Directed by Ben Andrews, and backed by a stellar crew consisting of
professionals from LA and Seattle, this is a story about an age old
debate between Order and Chaos playing itself out in the lives of
seemingly ordinary people. Casting for the following roles:
EVA (20-30); naturally pretty, introspective, shy, disturbed.
BILL (30-40), genuinely charming, worldly, evolved, with a darkness
beneath the surface.
LILAH (30-40), brash, exuberant and lively.
MIRIAM (20-35), spiritual, grave, intense.
GRANDMOTHER (50-65); loving, stern, possessing a kind of quiet wisdom
that comes from seeing "too much."
YOUNG JESS (8-12), an old soul, mature beyond her years.

Casting for Short Film
Seattle Central Film and video production is casting for a short film
"Playfish" as part of the student's final year curriculum. The film
is
currently in pre-production and will be shot in Seattle. Production
is
tentatively set for the last two weeks in March and will be comprised
of a 5 to 7 day shoot. Auditions for the fallowing parts will be held
Saturday, February 12th from 11am to 2pm at the Harvard campus (1500
Harvard
Ave and Pike) on Capitol Hill.The production requires professional
actors (film or theatre experience is a must) who can dedicate their
time and creative energy to this project. As of now there is no
compensation beyond role credit and craft services. Availability both
for the determined shooting dates as well as rehearsals is required.
Below are the character descriptions and film logline:
Playfish logline:
A woman who lives her life as a character in the meticulous play of
her childhood aspirations is forced to come to terms with the
uncontrollable nature of life.
Character Descriptions:
Claire (30): Corporate law attorney who carefully plans her days,
trying
to control all aspects of her life to further her career goals.

Looking for Leading Man and Supporting Roles for Mother-in-law
A group of graduation film students from Seattle Central Community
College are making a dark comedy called Mother-in-law. A story about
a housewife who snaps when her mother in law ruins her birthday.
Tolerance turns into vengeance as this average women becomes desperate
to kill her mother in law.
Jake- 40 A loving husband of Kim (lead) who has trouble balancing his
love for his mother and his wife and avoids confrontation at all
costs.
Supporting Roles
Doctor Dickinson- 55 An absent minded doctor that frequently mixes up
patients, diagnosis's, and other extremely important information at
the hospital. It's a miracle he hasn't been fired.
Doctor- 35 A doctor who keeps Dr. Dickinson in check most of the time.
This role is the "good" doctor.
There roles are unpaid, but you will receive film credit, a copy of
the film and food and coffee will be provided on the set.
Please provide head shots and resume.
We are looking or all kinds of ethnicity and backgrounds.
