What inspires you and motivates you to keep going in what can sometimes be a very challenging industry? In a field with lots of rejection, it can be challenging to stay positive and strong, but sometimes our passion alone drives us through.
What keeps you inspired and motivated? Do you have a mantra that you say before every show or before that close up shot? Do you have have a book that you read that helps you feel grounded and confident? Maybe staying in the social scene or taking classes does the trick?

We are holding an audition on June 21st, to find more actors for our team in the 48 hour film project.
The audition will be held at the Broadview branch of the Seattle public library located at 12755 Greenwood Ave N Seattle WA 98133, on the corner of N. 130th and Greenwood. (We'll be in the main meeting room, which is the first door to your right as you enter the library)
The audition will consist of both cold readings and improv.
People who have auditioned for us before are welcome to do so again.
You do NOT have to sign up to audition. Just show up and sign in on the spot.
Please do not audition unless you are available all day on Saturday June 25th (9 a.m. till late night) and also free on Sunday morning June 26th. Filming will take place in Seattle.
This is a volunteer position.

We’re currently looking for a actress 18 to 25 yrs old to shoot one scene on
July 9th. This scene is very important due to its the last scene in the
film.
You must be able to improve lines if needed, Comfortable using fake blood,
Comfortable running in the woods, If you have some stage combat experience
that would be great but it's not needed, No nudity required.
There will be light craft services for you during the production. Pay for
this job is $40.00.

*Film Synopsis:*
Jenny wakes up in the woods wrapped in a blanket left for dead. The last
memory she has is her boyfriend kissing her. Jenny is showing abnormal
behavior, headaches, paranoia, and hallucinations.
A widespread outbreak has accrued spreading a disease that locks those
infected into a permanent state of rabies-like symptoms. How it started is
unknown.
We follow Jenny on a personal journey to find out why she was left in the
woods and her search for answers regarding the outbreak. On her search for
the truth, she runs into multiple characters and tries to piece together
what is happening. As things turn from bad to a nightmare, she is subjected
to unimaginable terrors and struggles to stay alive.

48hr Film Fest - This Weekend (26th Sat) - Actors Needed

RainFilms is participating in this weekend's 48hr filmmaking race in
Seattle. Its a filmmaking contest on steroids, all films
will theatrically screened on June 30. We are looking for actors

The format of 48hr film contest is this: This Friday 7pm we will be given
a genre, prop, a line of dialog, a character - so don't know what story
we will be shooting till friday. We are not allowed to write a story
before that, so we are looking for actors of all ages, and depending on
the story we pick, we will do the casting, and send out a call sheet on
Friday.
