Paid Position - Costumer - Pirates - Bainbridge Island
Ovation! Musical Theatre Bainbridge, a community non profit arts organization known for its quality productions and musical excellence, seeks an experienced Costumer for its June 2012 production of The Pirates of Penzance.
The production will be directed by Ron Milton, Ovation!’s Artistic Director, with musical direction by Todd Hulet, Ovation!'s Director of Music and Education. The production will be cast in January 2012 and rehearsals begin in early March.
Flexibility, responsive communication skills, a sense of humor, a passion for the performing arts, a collaborative nature and a desire to create art with and for the community are a must.
Compensation: Competitive Stipend (transportation reimbursement also available). There is also a healthy budget for this production as well as a large inventory of costumes from past productions to pull from (including Pirates). A well-stocked and equipped costume shop on Bainbridge is also available as a work space as needed.

Project Description:
Looking for actors and directors to teach summer theater camp. Exact Location TBD but will be the Seattle Eastside. Shows include Aladdin, Mama Mia, Miss Saigon and many others. Age Range 4th grade to 12th grade divided into three age groups. Please send resume; salary requirements; and availablity based on a full week Mon - Fri from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. 10 week positions available. Music and Drama teachers also encouraged to submit resumes.

Be prepared to discuss your performance background, your training and what age group you enjoy working with.

Project Description:
As the New Yorker describes it, "BRILLIANT TRACES is one of those plays in which a man and woman battle it out in a small enclosed space, alternately repulsing and seducing each other."
This play deals with how humans experience loneliness-- we are literally alone and unknown or we are surrounded by people who can't actually "see" us.
We plan to build a full rehearsal schedule once we cast this role. As of now, we will rehearse Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday evenings with other evening rehearsals to be built in after casting Harry. The benefit of having a small cast is to be flexible with our rehearsal times and places. So if scheduling is your concern, please do not hesitate to audition and state your conflicts/worries on the audition form.
We will begin rehearsal ASAP. The show runs March 9, 10, 11, 16, 17, and 18 with only matinee performances on Sundays. Tech rehearsals--March 6 and 8.

Project Description:
Narrative Film for admissions to masters programs in film making. I have directed stage productions before, but this is my first film. This is a very dark romantic comedy centered around a widowed writer who is being haunted by the characters he kills off in his new project; he ends up falling in love with one of his characters. I am looking for the leading lady (ethereal beauty), his dead wife (red head, and a French maid (with accent). Filming with be on some weekends as everyone's schedules allows and then more involved in the summer.
Audition/Interview Dates:
Auditions by appointment only.

Screen test with leading man same day if needed.
Audition Requirements:
Cold readings from script only, will give you time to look over the sides.

Everyone is seeking the secrets of the Borrelli family, everyone wants in. Who wouldn't want to be a Borrelli? Even, The employees seek out, in search for evidence of the secret mob. When Dante decides he wants to close for a few nights to have a grand event dedicated to the employees, rumors spread like wild fire, some expect Dante will come clean of his wrong ways as a mobster, others hope to be invited to his underground mob, many suspicions fill Seattle. All waiting eagerly for the night of thegrand event!

Everyone is seeking the secrets of the Borrelli family, everyone wants in. Who wouldn't want to be a Borrelli? Even, The employees seek out, in search for evidence of the secret mob. When Dante decides he wants to close for a few nights to have a grand event dedicated to the employees, rumors spread like wild fire, some expect Dante will come clean of his wrong ways as a mobster, others hope to be invited to his underground mob, many suspicions fill Seattle. Casting Call for "bare: a pop opera" (Capitol Hill)
We are holding auditions for a Seattle production of the musical "bare." "bare" is a rock musical that focuses on two Gay high school students and their struggles at their private, Catholic boarding school. The parts that we are still looking to fill are:
Jason - St. Cecilia's resident golden boy and most popular student, jock, valedictorian, also Peter's closeted roommate and lover.
Nadia - Jason's overweight, sharp-tongued twin sister; she is cynical but strong.
Ivy - the pretty, popular, but insecure girl; desperately in love with Jason
Sister Chantelle - the school's sassy, no-nonsense drama teacher. Strong voice required. African-Americans or Asians preferred for this role.
Tanya/Kyra - two of the students who double as the Virgin Mary's backup-singing angels, both have strong soulful voices (think: the Supremes)
Claire - Peter's mother, who is reluctant to hear her son's attempt of telling her he is Gay, but learns that her love for him is stronger than her religion
Diane, Zack, Alan, Rory - other students in the school (with singing parts)
1. First you will need to send us the following:
- A recording of your singing and speaking voices
- Your contact information, resume and head-shot
- Why you want to participate in this production
- The specific character you would like to play
2. Once we screen the recordings, we will select candidates to audition in person. If chosen, you will receive audio recordings and lyrics of the specific songs to prepare and perform for us. You will need to bring the following to the audition:
- Availability sheet filled out
- Release forms signed
The day and time for the in-person audition is Tuesday, October 4th from 6:30pm to 9:30pm. You will be contacted with your specific time if selected. Please add this to your calendar if you want to participate as it is the only day we will have auditions for singers. This production is being put together to benefit OutLoud, part of the Youth Suicide Prevention Program (YSPP) that helps stop suicides in the LGBT community. All cast members will be volunteers.

Casting Call for "bare: a pop opera" (Capitol Hill)
We are holding auditions for a Seattle production of the musical "bare." "bare" is a rock musical that focuses on two Gay high school students and their struggles at their private, Catholic boarding school. The parts that we are still looking to fill are:
Jason - St. Cecilia's resident golden boy and most popular student, jock, valedictorian, also Peter's closeted roommate and lover.
Nadia - Jason's overweight, sharp-tongued twin sister; she is cynical but strong.
Ivy - the pretty, popular, but insecure girl; desperately in love with Jason
Sister Chantelle - the school's sassy, no-nonsense drama teacher. Strong voice required. African-Americans or Asians preferred for this role.
Tanya/Kyra - two of the students who double as the Virgin Mary's backup-singing angels, both have strong soulful voices (think: the Supremes)
Claire - Peter's mother, who is reluctant to hear her son's attempt of telling her he is Gay, but learns that her love for him is stronger than her religion
Diane, Zack, Alan, Rory - other students in the school (with singing parts)
1. First you will need to send us the following:
- A recording of your singing and speaking voices
- Your contact information, resume and head-shot
- Why you want to participate in this production
- The specific character you would like to play
2. Once we screen the recordings, we will select candidates to audition in person. If chosen, you will receive audio recordings and lyrics of the specific songs to prepare and perform for us. You will need to bring the following to the audition:
- Availability sheet filled out
- Release forms signed
The day and time for the in-person audition is Tuesday, October 4th from 6:30pm to 9:30pm. You will be contacted with your specific time if selected. Please add this to your calendar if you want to participate as it is the only day we will have auditions for singers. If you are selected for the second audition you will be contacted with the location.
This production is being put together to benefit OutLoud, part of the Youth Suicide Prevention Program (YSPP) that helps stop suicides in the LGBT community. All cast members will be volunteers.

The whole concept of the commercial is still underconstruction, but will probably be people at all our different amenities, such as the restaurant, pool, garden, ect. Lines will be simple and we need people who are able to smile and look like they are having a great time. Actors will be paid $150 per hour, with most likely a minimum of 3 hours. We are in need of two college age women to play stand ins for our
Latina actresses that have speaking roles. As the actresses are going
through hair make up and wardrobe, our camera and lighting crew are
having to light the scene. A stand in is someone who stands-in for
lighting and camera purposes before the scene is shot. Some people
call it a human prop for lighting and camera focus.
Stand-ins get paid $9.67/hr. for their work. Preliminary call time is
3:45pm.

The short is a fan film of the game Assassin's Creed. (If you arent familiar with the series, please take a look here: http://assassinscreed.wikia.com/wiki/Assassin%27s_Creed. The game centers around the use of a machine dubbed "the animus", which allows its user to view the genetic memories of his or her ancestors.) We are still in pre-production, but will be filming on the 6th of October. We are trying to set ourselves apart from bad fan films and be professional and true to Assassin's Creed. We are not just die-hard fans, but die-hard filmmakers, who have been doing shorts for years. There will be two parts to this short, a past and present. We are looking for males ages 25-50, and females from 21-50. We chose to do a fan film because it is a great way to get noticed, and again because we saw this as an opportunity to do the series justice. Almost all of the fan shorts online have absolutely nothing to do with the game itself. We hope the way in which we tackle the situation feels completely unique.

ACTRESS/ACTOR FOR SHORT FILM (SEATTLE)
I'm looking to cast for a dramatic short film that will begin filming in the next few weeks. Filming will take place over the span of 2-5 days, your presence will not be required on all days.
This is a low budget, independent short that will be submitted to film festivals in the Fall and Winter of this year. All performers will be credited for their contributions. Very good opportunity to gain exposure.
Again, prior experience is only preferred for the Lead Actress and not required for any of the roles offered.
ROLE 1
Actress - female, early to late 20's, some acting experience preferred but not required, the role is of an actress and love interest to our lead actor
ROLE 2
Supporting Actress - female, late 20's to mid 30's, the role is a mother waiting at a bus stop with her child, no experience required at all, this is non speaking role
ROLE 3
Supporting Child - boy or girl, age 5-11, this is a non speaking role, no experience required

Extras needed for Medieval/Present day short film (Pierce and South King county)
The short is a fan film of the game Assassin's Creed. (If you arent familiar with the series, please take a look here: http://assassinscreed.wikia.com/wiki/Assassin%27s_Creed. The game centers around the use of a machine dubbed "the animus", which allows its user to view the genetic memories of his or her ancestors.) We are still in pre-production, but production will be starting by the end of the month. We are trying to set ourselves apart from bad fan films and be professional and true to Assassin's Creed. We are not just die-hard fans, but die-hard filmmakers, who have been doing shorts for years. There will be two parts to this short, a past and present. We are looking for males ages 25-50, and females from 21-50. We chose to do a fan film because it is a great way to get noticed, and again because we saw this as an opportunity to do the series justice. Almost all of the fan shorts online have absolutely nothing to do with the game itself. We hope the way in which we tackle the situation feels completely unique.

I'm looking to cast for a dramatic short film that will begin filming in the next few weeks. Filming will take place over the span of 2-5 days, your presence will not be required on all days.

I had an actor quit the production and I need to fill his position ASAP. Shooting for his character is all day this Wednesday (sept. 21) and after 4:00 PM on Thursday.
Character: Johnny Victory - Major antagonist
Description: Johnny can be one of two people depending on your age,
1. An overplayed young wannabe action movie star that will never be above a C-actor. Very much in the vain of an Evel Knievel if he were trying to act.
2. An old washed up action star that is holding onto his few good movies from 20-30 years back and trying to live off his former glory. trying to live the rockstar life as it pertains to women.
Johnny's role in this production is to be the antagonist that steals the girl from the main character. He is in a very manageable fight scene with the "dorky-type" character. Johnny is also asked to kiss another cast member.

We are holding auditions for a Seattle production of the musical "bare." "bare" is a rock musical that focuses on two Gay high school students and their struggles at their private, Catholic boarding school. The parts that we are still looking to fill are:
Jason - St. Cecilia's resident golden boy and most popular student, jock, valedictorian, also Peter's closeted roommate and lover.
Nadia - Jason's overweight, sharp-tongued twin sister; she is cynical but strong.
Ivy - the pretty, popular, but insecure girl; desperately in love with Jason
Sister Chantelle - the school's sassy, no-nonsense drama teacher. Strong voice required. African-Americans or Asians preferred for this role.
Tanya/Kyra - two of the students who double as the Virgin Mary's backup-singing angels, both have strong soulful voices (think: the Supremes)
Claire - Peter's mother, who is reluctant to hear her son's attempt of telling her he is Gay, but learns that her love for him is stronger than her religion
Diane, Zack, Alan, Rory - other students in the school (with singing parts)

- A recording of your singing and speaking voices
- Your contact information, resume and head-shot
- Why you want to participate in this production
- The specific character you would like to play
2. Once we screen the recordings, we will select candidates to audition in person. If chosen, you will receive audio recordings and lyrics of the specific songs to prepare and perform for us. You will need to bring the following to the audition:

- Release forms signed
The day and time for the in-person audition is Tuesday, October 4th from 6:30pm to 9:30pm. You will be contacted with your specific time if selected. Please add this to your calendar if you want to participate as it is the only day we will have auditions for singers. This production is being put together to benefit OutLoud, part of the Youth Suicide Prevention Program (YSPP) that helps stop suicides in the LGBT community. All cast members will be volunteers.

This keeps getting flagged for some reason even though I am not breaking any rules, but here goes.
The Beta Society is looking for an actress for our feature-length horror satire, Junkbucket 2. A great opportunity for exposure as this will show in multiple festivals and hopefully land a dvd deal. You would be replacing an actress who had to move to LA, though most of the film has already been shot. This is a principal role, complete with dialog and a death scene. Topless nudity is required, but no sex scenes, or anything kinky or crazy. The nudity is used for comic effect as I am trying to make a joke out of the fact that nudity is "required" in movies such as these.
Shooting on weekends this fall.

The audition will be from 9:30-11am and consist of a ballet barre, jazz across the floor, and choreography by Artistic Director, Joseph Schanbeck. There will be a fifteen minute question and answer session immediately following the audition. Dancers must be available for the full 2011-2012 season which runs 9/11/11- 6/30/12. Dancers must be available to rehearse Thursdays 8am-12pm and Sundays 4pm-9pm.

3 Actors needed (King Co.)
'The Most Beautiful Thing in the World'
We are currently casting three (3) Male actors for a short film that will be shot in Carnation, Bellevue/Redmond and North Bend (King Co.). The film is based on a poem written in the Edwardian Era (1890-1910) entitled 'The Most Beautiful Thing in the World' and will be shot in that style. This Short film will be shot on the Canon 5D mark ii and Canon 7D.
What we are looking for: We are looking for Males ranging from 20-75 years of age. Because this film will be set in the Victorian era we will need measurements of the chosen talent for wardrobe.
Acting ability: The roles we are casting will NOT have speaking parts. However, each role will have need of believable expressive emotion.
What we need: Very minimum, we need a head/body shot shot of the Actor submitting himself (as recent as possible) along with resume or link to recent work.

Role: College Professor, age 40 to 55, male or female. Must have grey or greying hair.
Any ethnicity.
Project: Still shoot for educational software.
Shoot date: TBD- during the week of 9/5/11.
Location: University of Washington, Seattle
Time: Should take about 4 to 5 hours at the maximum.
Shots: Will show the professor interacting with students and technology, such as computers,
tablets, phones, etc. Shots may be interior or exterior, in classroom settings, computer lab, library, etc.
Compensation: $400.00
This is a buyout; the client wants unlimited use for unlimited time.
