New TV Network Looking for On-Air Talent (Seattle)
This is not a paid gig. It may lead to a paid one.
We are looking for on-air talent, men, women, of all ages. We are a new IP TV network, and are looking for talent for various projects.
In order to see how you are on camera, like an audition, we will have you do an app review for us. We may or may not use it in our show.
We have an immense amount of projects developing, we are looking for talent for them, and this would allow us to meet you, and see if we can do something else together. If nothing more, it may give you exposure, but we are looking for co-hosts of some of our shows in addition to other things. If you are interested, you would need to be able to come to our studio next week to film this and meet us.

A Children's Educational TV Series (for grades K-5) with 13
Episodes in the first season. Topics include: Volcanoes, Whales, Extreme Weather, The Night Sky, Castles, and Flight. Shooting takes place in Seattle March -- July 2012 with possible continuation into the Fall/Winter and beyond for future seasons.
MUST BE AVAILABLE TO SHOOT THIS WEEK -- MARCH 14/15/16 in Seattle as well as ongoing shoot dates (15-20 days) now-July.
This is a non-union production.
Role: DR. KNOWLEDGE, Male Age 17-40
DR. KNOWLEDGE does NOT talk. He pantomimes and mugs for the camera (like a silent film actor meets MR NOODLE from ELMO meets DOC from BACK TO THE FUTURE) to get his message across. He is a little zany.
DR. KNOWLEDGE conducts demonstrations and experiments that help kids understand key educational content for each episode. He is a fun loving, excitable, dramatically inclined expert in many things. He loves to learn and explore. He is an "absent minded professor", disheveled in personal appearance and a little scattered in his work environment.
BONUS
Experience in k-12 education is a plus.

Casting Call for Hip Hop Music Video (Shoreline)
My name is Javier Caceres and I was the director of this high school music video which went viral and got the attention of MSNBC, The LA Times, and Rachel Maddow.

Now, I'm gathering a cast & crew to participate on an online Music Video contest put out by the Blue Scholars. And them being alumni of my old high school, I couldn't think of a better place to shoot it.
I'd like to expand the network of people with whom I usually work with, and this seemed like an interesting opportunity to do so.
Unfortunately there will be no pay, but the shoot will be fully catered with a variety of snacks, drinks and two meals. You will also receive a DVD copy of the Music Video.
Our shoot days are March 24th, 25th, 31st and April 1st. Our deadline for submission is April 6th, so let's get started!
Here are the roles that need to be cast:
LEAD - Male: 16-20, Olive skin, short dark hair, slim build, background in hip/hop dance preferred. Able to emulate a rap/hip hop singer's performance and convincingly lip synch the lyrics.
Playing a high school student who's energetic, charismatic yet not afraid of getting in people's faces.
*The above mentioned physical traits can be overlooked if, and most importantly, the necessary stage presence is shown at the audition. Needs to be able to carry the Music Video.

Child Actors NEEDED for Blue Scholars Short Film (Port Orchard WA)
We are currently looking for child actors (ages 7 - 12) to be a part of our upcoming short film Cinemetropolis.
Cinemetropolis is a short film that coincides with the Blue Scholars latest album.

We are seeking a person to be a presenter in our training/marketing videos. These videos will be used on YouTube to market our commercial telecommunication services.
Presenters must be able to read a teleprompter, sound and look professional, and look good in a short business skirt or dress.
Pay is $30 an hour. We are not seeking professional models, or actresses. This is not a permanent position, but we will be making several videos.

Casting Male and Female leads for short film "Fallen Angel"
I'm a 15 year-old filmmaker casting the two leads in my upcoming short film (working title: Fallen Angel).
The film follows the story of the angel Gabriel. It starts with Gabriel's betrayal of the Kingdom of Heaven, and his banishment to the planet Earth. While on Earth, Gabriel runs into a young disorganized, collage student named Mary. She gives him a ride and lets him stay at her house. Gradually, Mary falls in love with Gabriel, but he fails to notice her due to his own selfish goals. Finally after saving Mary from a speeding car, Gabriel starts to feel compassion for someone other than himself. He will ultimately have to decide between living with Mary on Earth, or being able to fulfill his dream and become the ruler of Heaven.
Auditions will be March 31 & April 1. There are going to be about five filming days during the week of April 7-April 15, based on actor and crew availability. We will shoot at my house, in a few alleys in Seattle, and at some local shops. Food, fun, a DVD, and great memories will be provided; no pay.
These are all the roles I'm looking for for the film:
Gabriel-Male, early 20's
Mary-Female, early 20's
Lucifer-Male early 20's
God-Male, middle age to older
Eve-older woman around 60-70
Adam-Male, early 20's (no speaking)
Young Eve-Female, early 20's (no speaking)

Please note that if you do not get cast as one of the leads, you still might get cast as one of the other characters in the film. Also note that the ages are the ages the characters look like, not necessarily the actor's age.
Some swimming ability will be required for the male, and I would like the female lead to be able to drive.

SNW 2012 Season Auditions
Audition notice:
Shakespeare Northwest is holding auditions for the
2012 Skagit River Shakespeare FestivalSeason:
This seasons shows are "Julius Caesar" directed by Trey Hatch
and "A Midsummer Night's Dream" directed by Eal Lundquist
Auditions: please prepare 2 contrasting one minute monologues, one
must be Shakespeare or heightened language, wear clothing you can move in.

Rehearsals take place at the Rexville Grange and performances at the
Rexville-Blackrock Amphitheater a beautiful outdoor space near the
grange. The Rexville area is north of Seattle around Conway before you
reach Mount Vernon about 15 minutes from the freeway.
