Musical Film

Hello,

I am casting a for a short film there are 6 roles in the film. But I am looking first for the 3 main roles.... I am looking for young actors who would like to pursue acting and would want to participate in this film.

About a girl who moves to NYC to follow her dream of music after losing her mom. She meets a girl ( who is a metaphor for MUSIC) and falls for her, but is sleeping with men to mask her true feelings. Singing is involved :)

KUPS Radio Operations Advisor

Appointment Status
This position is in the ASUPS/Student Activities department. It is a regular, part-time position, 20 hours per week. Fluctuating hours; days, evenings, and/or weekends, depending on station needs.

Associated Students of the University of Puget Sound (ASUPS)

Responsibilities
-Reports to KUPS General Manager and the ASUPS Vice President.
-Educates, advises and mentors student staff in the day to day operations of the radio station to include coordinating all DJ classes and offering advanced radio speech .
-Meets weekly with the General Manager and Program Director in order to advise student staff in programming, promotions and fundraising, in coordination with the General Manager's vision for the station.
-Maintains station's license, operators' licenses, public file, and other legal records required by the University and the Federal Communication Commission (FCC).
-Enforces University and FCC rules/regulations.
-Prepares quarterly reports regarding station operation for the General Manger and the ASUPS Vice President.
-Edits and revises the KUPS DJ Handbook annually.
-Responsible for the maintenance, repair, and replacement of station equipment including transmitter and antenna.
-Assists KUPS webmaster with website continuity and exploring options for advanced streaming of music.
-Assists with providing equipment and training with any live radio broadcasts on campus or in the community.
-Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
-Three years of related experience/training to include previous radio station experience and experience with radio station equipment/communication systems.
-Candidates must be fully versed in FCC rules and regulations of broadcasting.
-Ability to work in a team management structure and establish effective working relationships with students also required.

Casting Call for Women in a 16 MOS comedic short film

Type: Non-Union Short Film

Project Description:
Casting 3 female leads for av16mm MOS short titled "Glorious", January 12th, 1:30 pm-5pm 16mm MOS in Seattle, WA.

SYNOPSIS: The short is about a man named Alex who discovers a "glory hole" in a bathroom stall. The hole gives off a heavenly light which seems to be calling his name. Out of curiosity, Alex peaks inside only to see what resembles heaven, with three beautful women of his most wonderful dreams.

Audition Requirements:
2-3 minute comedic monologue

No pay. However we will provide meals during the shoot and a DVD copy of the short film.

CASTING:

3 Female roles age 18-30 any ethnicity. Beautiful leading look.
Perhaps experience with comedic role.

NOTES:

Roles are silent, so use of body language is important as well as the look of the actresses. Copy of the short on DVD and meals provided. This is also a great way to gain experience to add to an acting resume. Shooting will be sometime in the next few weeks following the audition and should only last 1 full day.
