Synopsis:
“Coffeetown” is a "mocumentary" commercial spot for a major coffee
company. The concept focuses on a small, rural farm community and its
preparations for the upcoming county fair.

Casting Male
I’m a 16-year-old filmmaker casting the two lead roles in a 16-minute short
film. My previous eight films have appeared in film festivals in India,
Brazil, Australia, & Canada. In the US, they have won more than 20 awards
including best Teen Film at the Newport Beach Film Festival and Grand Prize
3-Minute Masterpiece at SIFF. My film web site is http://slugco.com.
The new film (working title: ALONE TOGETHER) starts with a terrifying
shipwreck. Brendan, a teenage boy, finds himself stranded on an island with
Eloise, the girl of his secret dreams. Their mutual need for each other
pushes them together, but Brendan’s love is selfish. He hides a working
radio to keep Eloise with him. In end, he sacrifices his paradise for her
escape.
There will be about seven days of rehearsal and filming around late July and
early August, scheduled based on the actors’ availability. We’ll shoot in
Bellevue and Seattle, plus one overnight trip to Whidbey Island. My parents
will be with us for the overnight trip and transportation and accommodations
there will be provided.
Much of the water action will be created via special effects, but some
swimming ability is required. Food & fun & DVD; no pay.
