Casting Call for a Fully Designed Short Film

We are looking to cast the following roles:

Chef: Male, between 40 and 70 years of age. He is the unaffected chef working at the ultimate greasy spoon diner. He runs the entire burger joint on his own and is always focused on the task at hand. He moves slowly but purposefully. He is extremely kind and has a very dry sense of humor but rarely shows either.

Man: Male, in his 30’s to 40’s. He eats at the Chef’s joint regularly. Very introspective and a huge fan of reading. He is a hard worker when he is on the clock, but outside of work he is visibly fatigued. Rarely talks but when he does it’s worth a listen.

Roy: Male, 20’s to early 30’s. A shifty-eyed small time crook. He has never had anything going for him and is trying his best to provide for his girlfriend, Julie. He is skittish and easily agitated.

Julie: Female, 20’s to early 30’s. She is Roy’s girlfriend who has grown weary of his line of work. She yearns for a better life. She loves Roy but is slowly coming to the realization that his schemes will never amount to anything.

Casting will be held on:
Tuesday February 22nd (from 4:00p.m. until 8:00p.m.)

This production will be shot in HD with a full crew and will be professionally designed. This will be a great opportunity for anyone looking to build their acting portfolio.

We are located at 1500 Harvard Ave, on the corner of Harvard and Pike in the Capitol Hill neighborhood. Please come prepared with a headshot and a resume and the role(s) you would like to audition for. We will have a cold read for the audition.
