No traditional auditions this time around due to the time crunch; rather, we are

-big, happy, loving smile
-pensive
-observant

This is a no-budget production, so there is no pay. Everybody is working as a
volunteer.

We also need approximately 5-10 background actors for some of the scenes, so if
you don't get cast as one of the lead/supporting roles, please let us know if
you'd be interested in working as one of our background actors.

Thank you for your time, and best of luck!

Update: 2nd Round of Casting for queer short, "Life Past the Bridge"

Fairly Queer Productions seeks queer actors

*Note Changes to casting, audition date, and shooting schedule*

Local Seattle film students seeks actors for two roles in "Life Past
the
Bridge," a sex-positive dramatic short about dealing with grief and
communication. It will be shot on digital. No pay--copy and meals
provided.

*Actors must be 18 or over.* Because of a lack of interested
actresses, we
have changed the gender of the protagonists to men. We're now looking
for one male actor (age range 20-30) to play Avery, who is the
somewhat
insecure but level-headed lover of the main character, Dakota. The
actor must
be comfortable with nudity and sex scenes. The more genderqueer the
better.

Also casting for one smaller, non-sexual part for a woman in her early
twenties.
Sidney is a the tough high school friend of the main character, who
pushes him to step outside his comfort zone.

Our crew (one woman and two men) is open, respectful, and
professional. It will be a fun, fast shoot taking place the last full
week of February.

Auditions will be held the evening of Wednesday, February 16th at
Seattle Film Institute (in the Capitol Hill area at 1709 23rd Ave).
Please prepare a dramatic monologue and expect some cold reading
from the script. If you can't make it that day, we'd still love to
hear from you and we'll see what we can work out. Again, you must be 18 or over
to be in this film.

Reply to: Email Brittany (anairofverb@gmail.com) with your availability and
she will respond with a specific call time and more details about the audition.
